Abstract

The study was conducted in order to determine the influence of conative characteristics on football game performance. For this purpose, 60 middle school students practicing football in school football clubs were examined.

For conative assessment, the CON6 measuring instrument was selected to assess the conative regulators as follows: activity regulator, regulator of organic functions, defense reaction regulator, attack reaction regulator, system for coordination of regulatory functions, system for integration of regulatory functions, and system for excitation and inhibition.

In order to assess football game performance, the following variables were applied: assessment of technique effectiveness, assessment of offensive match play effectiveness, assessment of defensive match play effectiveness, assessment of individual creativity during the game, team responsibility assessment, engagement assessment, behavior assessment, assessment of general game performance.

All the data in this study were processed at the Multidisciplinary Research Center of the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education, University of Pristina, using the system of data processing software programs DRSOFT developed by Popovic, D. (1980 &1993) and Momirovic, K. & Popovic, D. (2003). The algorithm and program implemented in this study are fully presented, and the program results are analyzed.
